  17. A problem has been found when using the TOSHIBA MK438FB and Dr. DOS 6.0.  After 
  18. this drive is low level formatted with the AMI "UT13" utility, Dr. DOS will not 
  19. boot from a floppy.  AMI's utility writes a random number to the drive, and Dr. 
  20. DOS does not properly check for valid data.  The result is that it identifies a 
  21. non-existent partition, and goes there to check for a DOS partition.  This 
  22. causes the system to hang.

  24. The solution is to use another DOS to boot from and make the partition on the 
  25. drive.  This has not been tried, but should work. Then install the Dr. DOS 
  26. diskettes.  This problem will occur when installing NOVELL versions 4.0 BETA, 
  27. and 3.1 Beta since they both use Dr. DOS 6.0.
